A Weekend in San Francisco
Spent an action-packed weekend in San Francisco, catching up with dear old friends, doing a little shopping {lots of antiquing}, and of course, eating.
We stayed at the charming boutique hotel Taj Campton Place, which is ideally located in Union Square, steps from Barneys, Neimans, Saks, and many other tempting stores.
Thanks to our friends Eddie and Marc, we discovered the decadent {and adorably retro} Ice Cream Bar in Cole Valley where waffle cones are freshly made and where they offer uniquely delicious ice cream flavors such as banana pudding with chunks of baked vanilla wafers and banana.
Alameda Point Antiques Faire
Wishing I had a truck for hauling all the amazing furnishings and curios spotted at Alameda Point Antiques Faire last weekend. There was not a cloud in the sky and no shade to hide under when the mid-morning sun began beating down on us. So many gems, but so little luggage space.
