Souvenirs from Paris & London

It always helps to savor and prolong fond memories from our travels by bringing home a few special souvenirs. To wit, these limited edition Hermès silk ties with Kelly boot charm only available at the 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré flagship.  These ties were made to commemorate the Saut Hermès au Grand Palais, an annual elite show-jumping competition organized by Hermès, and can be worn wrapped around the wrist or as a necklace.  Regrettably, I was too distracted by all the commotion in the flagship and neglected to buy more as presents.

Those of you following along on Facebook and Twitter may have seen other fun souvenirs {wink}, but from London I came away with the glamorously spooky Damien Hirst skull card and a quintessentially British limited edition Mulberry clutch with Union Jack turn lock. These pretty unique finds will be worn with happy memories, indeed.  What are some of your favorite souvenirs from recent travels?

A Study in Audaciousness

Arguably the most daringly gorgeous library I have seen in some time … painted in Benjamin Moore’s “Mulberry” and styled to perfection {more photos and details here}. Loving the rich luster of the color amid relaxed furnishings, imagining hours spent on that chair reading, writing, wistfully dreaming … Hope you had a lovely weekend.
