We arrived in Paris from London via Eurostar, which made us nostalgic for the days of train travel when we could easily jump on at a moment’s notice and in no time at all arrive at so many great European cities. It was a warm summer day, so after we checked into the charming La Belle Juliette, we set off to take in all the loveliness that is Paris.
Quite possibly the prettiest boutique hotel, decorated with modern French flair and great attention to detail. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a spacious junior suite complete with two Mac computers that also function as TVs. {Note: We were barely around to notice, but due to construction of a building next door, you may hear hammers & drills during the day.} We stopped by Palais Royal, one of my favorite spots to chill in the afternoon shade and made our way to the Museum Les Arts Décoratifs to visit the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibit.
The Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibit was a grand visual feast, especially for a design and fashion lover’s eyes. It gave me greater appreciation for the brand’s heritage and the creative force that is Mr. Marc Jacobs. A sneak peek below, but you really must go to experience it in person. To be continued …
