For visiting relatives from afar, Las Vegas is an easy trip from Seattle packed with gourmet eating, entertainment, and luxurious accommodations. We stayed at the Palazzo, dined at RM Seafood and Michael Mina, saw KÀ and Celine Dion {pleasantly surprised by both}, spent a morning at Canyon Ranch spa, and shopped. Here is a quick glimpse of the weekend. For more on Vegas, check out posts from this past March filed under travel. Happy Monday!

Las Vegas {Part I}
Happy first day of Spring! The proverbial Sin City was a surprisingly satisfying winter getaway for non-gamblers, with so much to see, do, and eat. After settling into our room at Encore, we did some exploring to work up an appetite for dinner at Guy Savoy. Keep reading below for details.
Our room was generously sized with an expansive view. I adore the mock crocodile and houndstooth wall-coverings as well as the doors.
