Pacific Galleries Revisited

It had been a year since I last visited Pacific Galleries Antique Mall and since then my talented sister-in-law opened a booth {Location: Magnolia no.2} filled with beautiful antiquities.  She has an exquisitely detailed eye for all things vintage and French-inspired, forever scouring flea markets near and far for old treasures. There is a lovely collection of sparkly crystal chandeliers, silver, and tabletop porcelain, and I am told the booth is getting a Spring makeover soon {coastal blues, greens, and neutrals}.  More goodies to come and if you prefer online shopping, visit her Etsy shop here.  Lots of things caught my eye that day … See other well-curated gems below.

Opulent Victorian Home

Designer Annie Brahler’s home in Jacksonville, IL, is utterly glamourous and unabashedly romantic with chandeliers in abundance and dreamy pale shades of pink and beige throughout.  The gilded accents, antique furnishings, and original plasterwork give the home old-world character and stately appeal.  Full story and more photos of the home, beautifully captured by photographer Björn Wallanderhere.

Light and Lovely

With more time in the day and the welcome arrival of Spring {ever so close} … thinking of sun-flooded rooms in dreamy pale shades and throwing open the windows to let in a gentle breeze carrying the promise of warm afternoons and early evening strolls among all that is abloom.
