Last Saturday, I attended a Supper Club hosted by the ever-so-lovely Cassandra LaValle in collaboration with Chef JJ Proville {of Il Corvo & Gramercy Tavern awesomeness}.  The ambience was perfect, conversations were lively, and the fresh farm-to-table food was … superb.  Guests were greeted with a delightful chilled punch with mulled berries and delicious nibbles {e.g., a garlicky lobster and a cured duck with cherries} to start.  Then there was the freshest spring salad, a pea custard that was divine, and much more {see below}.  And since it’s strawberry season, to top it all off, Chef JJ made soupe de strawberries with a refreshing sorbet, which was so amazing that I neglected to take a picture {slurp}.  Do sign up for the next one.  You won’t regret it.
