After poring over the New York Times Style Magazine this weekend, images of this 19th century London home are still playing through my head.  I am particularly captivated by the spare but brilliant use of color and quirky accents sprinkled throughout – the art and various design touches {like an old fire bucket used as a sink and the black and white malachite-patterned Fornasetti wallpaper}.  The outcome is astonishingly spectacular in a rather simple and nonchalant way.

  1. I love this too- the wall paper and black and white striped sofas are great. I have seen French harvest baskets As sinks ( like the fire bucket) and I think that is charming as well Thank you!
