Backtracking a bit here, but I simply must share a few details of a wonderful dinner at Copperleaf over Valentine’s day.  Tucked away in an unassuming neighborhood near SeaTac airport is Cedarbrook Lodge, which unbeknownst to me has been ranked #1 on both Tripadvisor and Expedia of late.  Its restaurant, Copperleaf, boasts a chef who is currently on the shortlist for a 2013 James Beard award and who’s resume includes the world-renowned French Laundry in Napa.  Despite a slightly limited prix fixe menu that evening, our meal was delightful with flavors paired to perfection and artfully presented. My advice is simply this: Go.
